Championship Week Is Here!
The 2022 United States Disc Golf Championship (USDGC) and Throw Pink Women’s Disc Golf Championship (TPWDGC) are returning to Winthrop University this weekend for the most anticipated and prestigious-to-win competitions of the season. More of a 10-day festival than just a tournament, this year’s events feature an expanded Championship Village with food vendors, disc vendors, limited-release merch, clinics, chances to meet the players, and an opportunity for spectators to play on the Winthrop Course. In addition, Championship Week features an exciting line-up of competitions that make for a full schedule of amazing disc golf for players and spectators alike. This year, for the first time, Doubles, Monday Qualifiers, the Dean’s Cup, and the Distance Championship will all include women’s divisions.
