Video History Lesson:
Dave Talks About Some Early Prototypes
With nothing more than a soldering iron, matte knife, plastic, a trowel, and sandpaper, Dave Dunipace created prototypes of discs that would turn the fringe game of Frisbee golf into the rapid-growing sport of disc golf. Dave cut up existing discs and welded bits and pieces back together to create faster, farther-flying molds. In this video, Dave talks about some of his earliest models, how they were created, how they were received when first released, and how they paved the way for the development of the modern sport of disc golf.
