Team Innova Highlights
In Europe, and at Masters/Junior World Championships

It was a weekend of nail-biting competition and unmatched scenery at the 2022 PCS Sula Open presented by Innova. It came down to a battle between precision tee shots from the Czech, Jakub Semerád, versus world-class putting by the American, Gregg Barsby. Gregg Barsby took down the win for Team Innova in a one-hole playoff after a tournament of back and forth lead changes up to the very last hole.

Team Innova saw huge success at last weekend’s 2022 European Open, one of the most anticipated and prestigious disc golf events of the year. Three Innova sponsored FPO players finished in the top five and for the men, Calvin Heimburg took eighth place. Kat Mertsch led the event after the first round and finished in fifth. Henna Blomroos held onto third place, making for her third, consecutive podium at the European Open.
Eveliina Salonen shot the highest-rated round of her career on day two and finished in second place. The leaders in both divisions separated themselves from the field and the final day played out as match play. Congratulations to Eagle McMahon and to Paige Pierce for taking home the titles.

Out of over 1,100 competitors last weekend in Peoria, Illinois at the 2022 Masters and Juniors Disc Golf World Championships, eight Innova Team members rose above their competition and clinched for themselves and for Team Innova eight new world titles. From 8 and under to 80 and over, these champions showed us that disc golf is a game you can play for a lifetime. Ohn Scoggins continues her strong play in ANY division, securing her second consecutive FP40 Masters World Championship.
