From the day the Aviar took to the course in 1984, it defined what a disc golf putter should be. It was the gold standard then and remains the quintessential putter now 40 years later. We kicked off our anniversary celebration with a run of Proto Glow Aviars that launched a new era of enhanced glow for Innova. We’re continuing our celebration with an out-of-this-world, limited-edition release of 40th Anniversary Galactic Pro Aviars. This run uses the standard Aviar Putt & Approach mold paired with a galactic KC material.

40th Anniversary Metalflake Dark Star XD
In 1984, Innova ushered in a new class of farther-flying discs with Dave’s design of the Aviar XD (later renamed the XD). To commemorate 40 years of our fourth mold to market, Innova is making a run of XDs in rare Metalflake Dark Star material. Shimmering specks on a black background look like stars in the night sky. The stamp is in the style of early runs of XDs when Aviar was still in the name. These beautiful and collectable discs will be in hot demand.
Leopard, Shark, Mamba, Lion… Innova animals are iconic! Our latest jersey features a jungle of Innova characters in a vibrant, eye-catching layout. These jerseys are 92% polyester, 8% spandex making them quick-drying, lightweight, and comfortable. They are available in either a blue or gray background, with the jungle design and an Innova Burst logo.

We’ve all got our own style and skills on the course. As much as that variety makes the game engaging, it means it isn’t always straightforward to help customers find the right disc. Innova has highlighted some of the most common player types and put together disc recommendations to help the Beginners get what they need and the Crushers get what they need.
The 80s produced some amazing music, movies and Mid-Ranges, and the Shark is one of the best. A unique notch in the lower rim makes for a comfortable feel in the hand. The angular rim makes for a controlled flight that resists damage and therefore seasons slowly. The Star Shark is back in stock at Innova East for the first time this decade.
